Support levels explained

  • Low support: Light compression bras and bralettes for yoga, pilates, stretching and walking. Soft, flexible fabrics with minimal structure – comfortable enough for all-day wear as a lounge bra too.
  • Medium support: Structured bras with wider straps and a defined underband for cycling, weight training, hiking and dance. Enough hold to control moderate movement without the firm compression of a high-impact design.
  • High support: Maximum-hold bras with moulded cups, adjustable straps and a secure underband for running, HIIT, jumping and any activity with significant vertical movement. Encapsulation designs (separate cups) control each breast independently for the best bounce reduction.

Finding the right fit

A sports bra should feel snugger than a regular bra – this is where the support comes from. The underband should sit level all the way around without riding up at the back. Straps should be firm but not digging in, and you should be able to fit two fingers underneath. Jump up and down in the fitting room: if you feel significant bounce, go one size down or try a higher support level.

For larger cup sizes (D+), look for bras with separate moulded cups rather than compression-only designs. Adjustable straps and a hook-and-eye back closure allow you to fine-tune the fit and accommodate changes throughout the month. Moisture-wicking fabric and mesh panels in the back keep you cool during long sessions.

Care and more

Hand-wash or machine-wash at 30°C in a mesh bag. Never tumble-dry – heat degrades the elastic fibres that provide support. Zwei Faktoren: Belastungsstufe (leicht: Yoga/Pilates → mittelharter BH; hoch: Laufen/HIIT → maximaler Halt) und Größe (Unterbrustumfang + Cup). Ein zu lockerer BH schützt nicht, ein zu enger schneidet ein. Die Größentabelle auf der Produktseite gibt beide Maße an. Im Zweifel die kleinere Größe für mehr Halt.
